A rare James Dixon and Sons Ltd Silver Plate Tea Pot c 1920 

A lovely silver plated teapot that is in great condition considering its age that will add a wonderful look to any table for any occasion. Although there are some historical wear to the teapot it is still intact with no dents. There are no leaks and the insulator in the handle is still working.

James Dixon started in 1806 with Thomas Smith in Silver Street, Sheffield. Over time the sons joined the firm and continued until 1992 when they closed their doors in Cornish Place after a financial collapse in the late 1980's.
