A wonderful S C Coombes Ltd Silver Plated Fruit/Bread Bowl Pattern 14905
The bowl is from Rangoon and part of the Colonial works for the British Army for ceremonial, commemorative and souviner silver and silver plate items during the British rule of Burma. This is a great example of a bread or fruit bowl that would be part of an officer's dinner table for bread or in another area as a fruit bowl. It would add a lovely dish/bowl in any home today.
There is some historical wear on the inside bottom where some of the silver plate has been rubbed off but it is not greatly noticeable along with what you would expect for a few scratches considering its age.
