This fine Victorian brass table lamp, mounted on a distinctive tripod stand, was designed for dining table use and is a particularly appealing example of period lighting. The lamp retains a substantial double-wick burner, allowing for a strong, functional light output when both wicks are used, or a softer, more atmospheric glow when operated with a single wick.

The tripod stand is an uncommon and visually striking feature, adding both stability and collector interest. The flue/chimney is original and antique, and as such should be handled with appropriate care when being removed from or replaced on the burner gallery, and during cleaning.
