Antique Brass Dinky Side Table Oil Lamp
This lovely little example of a Victorian small side table or entryway table brass oil lamp is from the late 1800's - turn of the 20th century. It has a unique small bowl base and a lovely fretwok on the flue gallery all in brass. There is a dainty but solid wick control knob on the side of the burner. The glass flue is also antique and came with the oil lamp.
The oil lamp can be used in the hallway, lounge/living room, dining table/room, kitchen, bathroom and safe place in a bedroom. Using it in the bedroom allows for a low night light for those who prefer some light, in the hallway on a safe solid surface can be used as a warming welcoming light or a night light. And in the lounge/living room for additional light to reduce use of overhead lighting or to create mood lighting either for a romantic interlude or to help relaxation.
I have refurbished the burner and added a new cotton wich bringing it to as close to new as possible and as shown in the pictures in working order.
